Aimed directly at the Mercedes-Benz EQC and Audi e-tron, BMW's iX large-class SUV is the company's initial foray into upper-level electric vehicles. Around the same size as a BMW X5 and available here in xDrive40 grade, the iX presents passengers with a radical, curved, 19-inch instrument cluster incorporating a 12.3-inch touch screen. The iX uses a twin-motor all-wheel drive system, developing 240kW/630Nm for a range of 425km and sprints to 100km/h in 6.1sec. Charging time on a fast charger is claimed at around half an hour.
