Power is sent through a 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT automatic transmission to the fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system.
What makes the GLE 53 particularly interesting is its sophisticated chassis technology. The AMG Active Ride Control system uses the 48-volt electrical architecture to operate electronically controlled anti-roll bars, helping keep the large Coupe remarkably flat through corners while maintaining a comfortable ride with air suspension and adaptive dampers. It also features seven AMG Dynamic Select driving modes, including Trail and Sand for off-road use, despite its dramatic coupe silhouette.
